It is in the spirit and responsibility of National Sports Council (NSC) to promote and encourage various sports member associations to organize national and international level sports events here in Nepal, hence I am pleased to learn that Nepal Athletics Association (NAA) has ventured to host 16th Asian Cross Country Championship 2023 in Nepal.
300 plus athletes from nearly 30 or more Asian countries participating in this grand event showcases the ability of Nepal to host Asian level sports. I hope this gives other member association to follow the same.
I would like to thank Asian Athletics Association (AAA) for having the confidence on NAA and our country Nepal to host this Asian level competition. On behalf of NSC I would like to take this opportunity to wish NAA the host and AAA the organizer my very best wishes and would like to ensure everyone that NSC will do everything in its endeavor to make the 16th Asian Cross Country 2023, being held in Nepal a grand success.
